The page contains a variety of resources that I have accumulated as I have worked to better mentor and coach individuals on their path to agile success. You may notice that many of these resources have little or nothing to do with agile methods or process, that is because the idea is to grow the leadership principles and skills needed to lead agile teams by understanding the people that make up the teams. These resources are about taking agile to the next level from just running agile projects to creating environments that will allow you to build and lead successful agile teams.

  • Scrum Guide – The Scrum Guide is the official Scrum Body of Knowledge. It was written by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland, co-creators of Scrum.
  • Advanced Common Sense – While technically a site about web usability, I have discovered that a lot of Steve Krug’s common nonsensical observations can be used with teams, work and project alike, web or not!
  • Agile Buddha – this blog helps to get to the core of agile, with a great dose of using agile in the real world
  • SkyCoach – A terrific blog with different perspective on all elements of agile
  • All Things Product Owner– A great blog on all things that affect the Product Owner

  • Scrum Reference Card – An overview of Scrum/Agile and breakdown of the elements in one article with printouts.
  • Scrum Guide – This guide contains the definition of Scrum as assembled by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland who developed Scrum; the Scrum Guide is written and provided by them.
